My wife and I stayed in Barberstown recently to celebrate the 35th anniversary of our last stay there- on our wedding night in 1989. We have spent many years overseas since, and had never managed to stay at Barberstown in the interim despite great intentions on multiple occasions. We had a wonderful time last weekend and and we greatly enjoyed it. Every member of staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, with a particular mention for Lisa and the front of house staff at reception, as well as the wonderful staff on service for evening meal in the Bar on the Sunday night. There were also several little touches provided by the Hotel to help mark our celebration. FInally we were really pleased to see that the changes, upgrades, and improvements made over recent years have not taken away from the ambience of the Hotel and the beauty of the setting. We certainly don't intend on leaving it another 35 years before we get back next time. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir. Michael and Paula. (Cork)

An absolutely fabulous hotel, staff and food!!

We had an extremely pleasant stay, couldn't fault a thing. Food and drinks were gorgeous and Alan in the bar in particular was an absolute legend. We'll definitely be back!
